What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?

I was inspired that two of my teachers were coming together to create in an International Soul Art Day! I just love the concept here of everyone working on their imagery all around the world.

How would you describe your creative process?

My process is a blend of traditional learning from art school, my professional iconography honed in my twenty-eight years as a graphic designer and experiential transformational methods from my teachers, all who have participated in International Soul Art Day. Aviva Gold, Shiloh McCloud in The Color of Woman Method and Laura Hollick.

What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?

What was interesting is that I started this painting two years ago, after family dramas around my father’s passing. I was readily searching for a new path in my life. It seemed that I had was at the phase where, I had the surroundings, water, heart, body map outline, my kitty Renee. I stopped here. A bit daunted, and bit unsure of where to continue.

When I heard that International Soul Art Day was scheduled, I decided to pull out the canvas, rolled up against the wall, and continue working on it. What kismet when I logged in to find out, this was the project slated for everyone on the live broadcast!!

Diving in was really easy for me, as I have continued to learn the Color of Woman Method with Shiloh McCloud. I wish some of my symbols were large enough to collage, but I felt that painting them in, or a representation of my selection of images, was what really felt palpable and real to me.

My image, though I do not think is done, feel like a Sacred Knowing and Energetic Web of Connection throughout my body, connecting to what I love and the web of life.

What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?

She is floating on a GIANT HEART OF RED THREAD CONNECTIVITY!
