What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I am currently in day 3 of Flora Bowley’s True Bloom E-course and she posted this yesterday. My heart and soul lies in the creative transformational process.
How would you describe your creative process?
Vulnerable, brave, bold, intuitive, heart wandering and soul shining. I never had any “painting experience” and three years ago when I decided to begin, it has a been a transformational, exceptional journey of no technique, no goal, sweet surrender and a complete surprise of how much it feeds my soul, and nurtures my heart.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
The biggest insight was how it all came together even though I actually don’t understand what I wrote during the consciousness story (but I know that will come), when I surrender even more deeply into joy. It was validation that I have everything that I need (which intellectually I know), but now I can see it. With that awareness now I need to commit to feeling it.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
I actually think what I wrote above is the most important aspect. That life always validates your instincts if you allow it and are open to it; over and over again, deeply, lovingly and with ease and grace. It doesn’t need to be difficult. It can be an unfolding, ever-flowing joyous process. As with most things we can intellectually understand aspects of our soul, but that can only take us so far. Something has to be awakened from the depths of our subconscious mind in order to see it first, feel it second and then we can begin to take inspired action. Then we truly “KNOW IT”.
