What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I gain so much insight everytime I do a Soul Art Journey ~ I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to participate in a global event!
How would you describe your creative process?
I would describe my creative process like a swan dive into the unknown. I let go of everything I think I know about art and let myself create listening to my spirit. I find that when I get stuck or blocked it’s because I’ve come up against something in my mind – usually an old belief or self doubt. I completely let go of the outcome and what transformed in this particular piece surprised me greatly.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I recieved the insight that I’m of the cosmos – looking into the realm of this physical plane. In order for me to embody fully I need to practice ritual to ground the billions of pieces of stardust and light. I am to take my scattered parts and weave them into a solid whole – from this rich tapestry I can fully embrace my spirit in all aspects of my life. I was asked to sit on the throne of the cosmos I had created and hold my birth stone (amethyst) nude and share it.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
The action from the insight was scary and bold. When I look at the image I created and the journey I went on today, tears come to my eyes and my heart swells with a knowing – my soul art doesn’t lie.
