What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
A combination of creative forces and self reflection – the right time in my life to find my authentic voice and to express it creatively. I admire Laura Hollick as a beautiful inspiration to art and have wanted to participate in one of her events for a long time.
How would you describe your creative process?
First of all it is playful and excited, where I love to use colour and imagination, and then leading into the spiritual, mythical and emotional realms.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I was surprised that that I could visualize and express my inner world in my own imaginative style. The time went in state of flow and play, I felt full of love afterwards, with expansion in heart energy.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Soul Art Day fell on my younger brother’s birthday. My brother passed away 9 years ago. I still have a deep connection to him and wanted to honour him. So I painted this for him – “Connected By Love” to depict our two worlds connected by love. He always reminded me of a horse with his love of freedom and the unicorn represents him in this picture. The mermaid is myself, the water, all the emotion, and the skies and stars, the spiritual realm. I have always felt like a wounded artist. But after I finished the painting, I felt that the artist in me was ready to come out to play. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity Laura. And thank you to the soul art community for inspiring me with their art and energy.
