What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
This is my 3rd year participating in Soul Art day…
There have been many-many-many (did I mention many?) changes in my life over the past 3 years. This year is a year of breaking free from chains and ropes of the past and forging forward… ART is a HUGE part of that.
What better way than to celebrate and look forward WITH Art?!
How would you describe your creative process?
Just START… make a mark, any mark, then go with the flow.
Sometimes I set an intention, sometimes I make no plans and just start painting when the brush hits the canvas… the Universe will take it from there… The Universe knows what I need in that moment.
…‘misplaced’ splatter… smear it in… Not in the lines… *shrug* who cares…
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
My focus this year was FREEDOM, also my Word of the Year…
I started with my arms and hands traced on the canvas which turned into a sturdy tree…
The symbol for infinity appeared… and a yoni over that…
The infinite power that comes from being a woman and the power of creation are deeply rooted in this piece…
Then the colour… oh the chaotic colour of creation…
This is the year I make seeds grow, dream seeds I have been holding onto for years…
The Dreaming Tree.
Infinite Possibilities…
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Don’t get all wrapped up in the ‘what’ your creating… it’s all about the ‘why’…
Questions asked and answers given… if your open to receive.
Just come, just be… the Universe is waiting… for you.
