CHARRON PUGSLEY-HILL
Artist of colourful vibrant intuitive paintings and installations inspired by nature, flowers and World War I from United Kingdom

What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I love the use of colour and intuition in creating my art which is always emotional and soulful. I like to challenge myself to do something different that I would not normally create as this is how we learn and grow into new areas and skills.
How would you describe your creative process?
I trust myself that a painting will happen on the canvas as I stand or sit in front of the canvas. Depending on the subject or place I occasionally do a little research or thinking around the subject but more usually I trust just in that moment that art will be created.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
That following a process as set out in the journey can lead to other experiences that you would not have if you do the samosa you always do. I loved the energy that came from working with others around the world. I do not usually do any people stuff but it worked for me totally and I see now how it could be great for others to create in this way also.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
The emotions it created were excitement, connection and empowerment, all strong and beautiful emotions that I did not expect to feel so strongly in a virtual event.
