What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
Received an invitation from Dr Marie Mbouni, calling all creative spirits and I love creating Art pieces
How would you describe your creative process?
Enthusiastic and fun to start with when we were doing the body tracing, flowing fast that was a good start however after that the process was very slow, exploring finding potion bottles then finding tubes and blood flow and then finding the heart. I was gripped and energised and persistent and found it hard to break away. An elephant appeared and an owl. I was very surprised as baby and umbilical cord appeared It was hard work. I got stuck got backache and was very pushy on my energy. It is a fantastic journey of Discovery. Only just remembered to put in the gold stars of desire ! felt like trying to get blood out of a stone.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
There is a little golden flame in the middle of my heart. I want to fan the flame.
There is a strong barrier around my heart and the energy from my legs and earth needs to get through, softening the edges would be helpful and I also need to take better care of my actual physical heart
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Asking my picture for some questions was really interesting , got some reassuring answers and advice that I trust. Creativity takes time and patience it said, I need to stop pushing so hard, too hard, it’s detrimental for my health and well-being.
Also this soul art piece frightened me, and seeing it out of the corner of my eye made me very startled, it was whirling and looking alive. Odd that, as “lively” is one of my words that came from stress-busting as one of the three interests.
I feel a bit weirded out by the whole experience, it’s been absolutely invaluable and the power of this is undeniable, so grateful many thanks
