Amanda Trought
An amazing artist to inspire your journey
Amanda’s Soul Art Day Interview
When did you know you were an artist?
I was around 7 years old and was encouraged to be creative at a very young age. While in school I was encouraged by two of my teachers to keep drawing and creating and I never forgot how it made me feel being affirmed in something I really enjoyed
What keeps you making art?
Art Heals. Knowing how creating art makes me feel and viewing the creativity of others continues to inspire me to create even more. It is an essential part of my everyday life that I have to do in whatever form I am led, which is why I love mixed media.
If your art could talk, what would it say?
Thank you for letting me exist. For giving me space when you were unsure. It would tell you to explore your amazing and beautiful life. Step out of your comfort zones and create from your heart. Do not judge yourself and honor what you say you would do for yourself. Do not be afraid to be different and do not compare yourself to another. Listen, learn, take time to grow and allow your creativity to flourish. Keep shining your light
