Audrey O’Marra
A Certified Soul Art® Guide to inspire your journey
Audrey’s Soul Art Day Interview
What does it mean to be an artist to you?
Art to me is as important as breathing, it is what feeds my soul. I feel that art is an innate expression of our human experience.
I used to fear doing it “right”, now I just do it, it is okay to make mistakes, there is always another canvas to paint, a book to write, a song to sing….
How do you create space to work on your art?
For me creating space is important, I have been blessed to be able to create a space dedicated to my Art. And that space doesn’t have to be fancy, just a space that is all mine that isn’t shared with others. This allows me to fully express me, without the fear of others interference.
What matters most to you when it comes to your art?
When it comes to my art, what is most important is the ability to be freely expressive. As the years go by, I am less worried about technique, not that that is not important. For me it allows me freedom to play with color, texture, and abstract flows.
