What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I follow Soul Art Studios on FB and watch the videos. i feel a deep connection with Laura and her work.
How would you describe your creative process?
“Often Interrupted!” lol! I have two young children and wanted to include them as much as I could in todays activities. I explained it to them and let them come up with their own creative project to work with. I did my process by the book and found that I was able to jump in and out of creative flow pretty effortlessly. I live a pretty art filled life and it must be paying off! I loved the process and look forward to a time when my time can be JUST my time!
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I noticed that in each image that I chose the women were barefoot. i chose my feet to trace and my daughter chose to foot paint with her finger paints. This is all about balance and being grounded in authentic expression and abundance. I found that coloring my feet was very ritualistic…as I colored them, I loved them…it became a healing ritual of sorts.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
I genuinely enjoyed the connection I made with other Soul Art Sisters and Brothers during the course of the day. I loved that we were immersed in a multi media experience, guided, yet able to do our own thing. I VERY MUCH enjoyed my day. I wish EVERYDAY was Soul Art Day!
