What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
Joan Marie, my former art teacher, suggested it and I had heard a lot about Soul Art in the class I took with her called CREATIVITY! Also, tensions were high at home and I needed to get motivated and excited about art again!
How would you describe your creative process?
It was incredibly inspirational. I felt free of worry and rules, I tried new things. I fell in love with my process and I learned how to trust my intuition like I had never done before.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
I realized that my flaws are never as outstanding as they feel and that there are so many beautiful aspects of myself and the world around me that I should focus on.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
Always appreciate the process and don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone. Even if the before process is extensive, do it anyway because it allows pure inspiration to give life to your piece. Also ANY DAY CAN BE SOUL ART DAY. I made my piece over four days because I was so busy and I am glad I did because it took the pressure away from finishing it by the end of SOUL ART DAY! I will for sure do this again next year and will continue to use this process to make art from pure inspiration in the future.
