What Inspired you to do a Soul Art journey?
I have been taking these journeys annually for over 10 years. I am inspired by the depth of inner journeying this process takes me in such a short period of time if I put my intention into it. Our body’s wisdom is amazing!
How would you describe your creative process?
This year, I chose to create a sculptural piece. Most commonly I am a painter. My process begins with an inspired inquiry or intention and my willingness to explore freely and openly in search of answers. I never know where it is leading me until I arrive at the end. It is a magical experience and process.
What insight did you receive from your Soul Art?
The Heart and gifts from the Heart are more precious than gold. The messages I have received, so far, from my piece include: Open your heart. Be brave. Share your gifts from your heart publicly. Life flows through the heart and from the heart. Your hands are one of your super powers and hold opportunities and many gifts for sharing.
What is the most important thing you would like to share about your Soul Art experience?
The most important thing I wish to share about this experience is that it is for everyone. Everyone has an imagination. Everyone is creative. And everyone can tap into their body wisdom. What you have been told about “art” is probably untrue……. Everyone is able to create ART if they allow themselves to step into the realm of non judgement and childhood innocence. Enjoy the process, it is more important than the results.
